In order to align with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and meet the requirements set forth in the 2021 version of the Graduate Attributes and Professional Competencies released by the International Engineering Alliance, the China Engineering Education Accreditation Association (CEEAA) has undertaken a revision of the engineering education accreditation criteria since September 2021. Following extensive research, stakeholder consultations, and conference discussion, the engineering education accreditation criteria 2024 ( draft for comments ) has been formulated through multiple rounds of revisions.
To further solicit opinion from various stakeholders, and with the approval of the CEEAA Chairman’s office meeting, the CEEAA is now seeking feedback from higher education institutions, industry associations, enterprises, institutions and individuals relevant to engineering education accreditation. The deadline for submitting feedback is May 30, 2024.
According to the work plan, subsequent to soliciting opinions from the public in this round, the CEEAA will revise the criteria based on feedback, submit for review and approval according to procedures, and plan to officially release new accreditation criteria in the second half of 2024.
